Chop the Asparagus into 1/2" pieces. Place in a saucepan along with all other ingredients except the evaporated skim milk. Bring to boiling; cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes until asparagus is crisp/tender. Place asparagus mixture in blender and blend on high speed until smooth, and fibers are good and chopped up. Return to saucepan, add cream and heat without boiling."
