Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 lb.powdered sugar(About 3 1/2 cups)
  • 1/4 tsp.salt
  • 1/4 cupmilk
  • 1/3 cupbutter(2/3 stick)

Instructions

Beat with electric mixer until smooth and creamy. If too stiff to spread easily, beat in a few drops of milk. Makes enough to frost tops and sides of two 8” or 9” layers.
